On Sunday 23rd March the Tamworth under 18 girls travelled away to face an unknown entity in the form of Brackley RFC under 18 girls. The sky was clear and the pitch was hard, and the girls played cohesively to obtain a win and final score of 5-57.
The girls scored their first try relatively fast and kept up the pace to drive the halftime score to a convincing 5-38. Tries came from Eva, Lexi (3), Daisy, and Grace; four of which were converted by Eva.
During the second half the girls played uphill but still managed to build upon their tempo from the first half to ensure fluid play and more tries, from Lexi, plus one from Eva. Eva also covered two to bring the score to 5-57.
Dames of the game today were Evangeline for the forwards for her ever-present work rate and strong carries, and Lexi for her constantly strong running lines and try-scoring abilities. Brackley chose Millie and Lexie as their opposition players of the match.
